Jabulani Hadebe popularly known by his stage name Sjava, is a prolific singer, songwriter, rapper and actor in South Africa.
His genre of music is fused in between R&B, Hip-hop and Afro-pop. He performs his songs majorly in his native language and sometimes English.
He is popularly known for his hit song “Uthando” and “Ameni” which saw him join forces with Producer, Miss Pru on her song.

FAMILY AND BEGINNING
Sjava is originally from Bergville in Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa. The name of his mother is Thandi Nkabinde and he is from the Zulu tribe.
He has two siblings namely Sibusio his brother and Sindy his sister. He started his music career at an early age with the help of his family.
EDUCATION
Sjava is a High School graduate. He started singing at an early age of 10 and he was in charge of writing original songs for his all boys group named Isicathamiya in primary school.
In his High school e took his music career up a notch by turning notes to songs and also teaching it to his classmate. After his High school he decided to go into music fully.

Sjava got his major breakthrough after the release of his hit song “Uthando”, which got an awesome reception from people.
Music for Sjava started at an early age and he could read music which made it easy for him to start composing songs.
One of his debut recording was featuring on Miss Pru’s “Ameni” single, the song also featured B3nchmarq and Saudi.
He released another solo single on the 8th of April 2016 tagged “Ekuseni”. It was after this he released his debut album titled “Isina Muva”.

Isina Muva (2016)
This is first studio project that was officially released on the 22nd of July 2016. The album’s title was gotten from a Zulu idiom meaning “Late Bloomer”.
The Album was released under Ambitiouz Entertainment record label. It was later certified Gold by the Recording industry of South Africa (RISA). The album housed songs like “Uthando”, “Linda” and “Before”.
Umqhele (2018)
This is his second studio project that was released on the 14th of December 2018. The album was released under Ambitiouz Entertainment record label.
It won various awards and recognition and enjoyed a massive reception. It housed songs like “Angik’deli”, “Ujesu” and “Wamuhle”.
Umphako (2018)
This is his first extended play released officially on the 6th of July 2018. The four track EP topped itunes chart on the first day of its release.
It was released under Ambitiouz Entertainment record label. The EP housed songs like “IntombiYami”, “Confession” among others
SJAVA’S RELATIONSHIP
Sjava is married at the time of this writing. Although he got people confused at his marital status due to the fact that he was romantically linked with House singer, Lady Zamar, which didn’t end well as it was marred by reports of abuse from her.
He was also linked with fellow BET award winner Sho Madjozi. He revealed that he is a married man at one of his shows in 2019.
